This infamous rapid provides thrill seekers with an adrenaline rush and is widely known to throw rafters up and then dump them into the river!
Kayakers are swarming to the Chattahoochee River Whitewater to get a look at the newest paddling hotspot on the East Coast where playboaters hit big water with flows up to 13,000 CFS and the RiverWalk Island has lights to kayak at night!
Chattahoochee River Whitewater also offers a standing wave that attracts river surfers from all over. River surfers come to surf the Great Wave for a warm & safe, yet very extreme white water experience. Stand Up Paddleboarders test themselves by paddling down a rapid challenging their ability to balance on a board.
